Connecting Usersnap with Asana

First, please select Asana in the 3rd party integration grid:

To connect Usersnap and Asana you need to set up an "from email" routing in your Asana account settings as shown below.

Back on the Usersnap Dashboard, please enter your Asana account address into the panel.

asana bug tracking integration You can set a subject prefix to find Usersnap tickets easier. If your users enter an email addresses on the Usersnap Widget (or are required to because you set it up this way) the ticket is automatically connected to them and you can reply easily within Asana.

How to find the Project Id

Optionally, you can select a specific Asana project for your Usersnap screenshots.
You will need to find the according Asana project id: Click on your project and have a look at the URL. It will look like http://app.asana.com/#/0/FirstNumber/SecondNumber.
The "FirstNumber" is your project id - copy it into the project id field.

Add an assignee to tasks

If you want to add a project member as assignee to the tasks, add its email address to the assignee address field. Please note that it must be a member of the target project.

Add auto-followers to tasks

If you want your Asana project members to automatically follow generated tasks from Usersnap, add their email addresses to the auto-follower list. Please note that they need to be members of the according project.
