Connecting Usersnap with Zendesk
Zendesk and Usersnap can be connected easily to deliver visual feedback from your customers' screen directly to Zendesk.
First, please select Zendesk in the 3rd party integration grid:
We highly recommend to set up a specific Zendesk user with the "agent" role with reduced access level ("Assigned tickets only"). For detailed information about how to configure users please visit the Zendesk documentation.
After creating a Zendesk agent, simply put the credentials of this user and the hostname of your Zendesk instance into the delivery configuration panel and click "connect".
After that, set up the type and the priority of the tickets Usersnap will create.
Finally you will receive Usersnap screenshots delivered directly to your Zendesk account.
If your users have entered an email address, you are able to respond to any Usersnap feedback directly in Zendesk.
Add custom fields to Zendesk
In Zendesk you can add custom fields to your ticket. If you are using the Usersnap widget you can configure Usersnap to populate your custom fields. Creating a custom field in Zendesks can be easily done in the admin area. Under the 'Manage' section you can find a menu entry called 'Ticket Fields'. Follow the link 'add custom field' and note the Id.
Use the Id of the custom field to configure your Usersnap widget.
